George Bush Intercontinental Airport is situated 32kms north of downtown Houston. This large airport has been considerably modernised over the years and provides a large number of domestic flights to major destinations within the USA as will as an impressive amount of direct daily international flights.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the main gateway to Houston, providing a large number of domestic connections to cities within the USA such as Albuquerque, Anchorage, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago-O'Hare, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami as well as prominent regional destinations.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport features a total of four passenger terminals, namely A, B, C and D. While terminals A, B and C offer domestic and short-haul flight services, Terminal D is reserved for international flight links. Originally known as Houston Intercontinental Airport, the airport was opened in June 1969. This is one of the fastest growing airports in the USA and it took over the majority of operations from Houston’s William P Hobby Airport.

Offering direct connections to over 150 destination cities around the world, George Bush Intercontinental Airport is one of the busiest airports in the USA.
